1912 Titanic Postcard Advertising Poster (22x15.5”)
Shortly after the “greatest maritime disaster in history”, postcards, such as the one advertised here, were produced in memory of the ill-fated vessel. This cardboard window card, created by Tichnor Brothers, Inc., is highlighted by a brilliant illustration of the Titanic along with summary of its brief career. The borders display some light creasing and the edges have minor spots of discoloration, otherwise EX. One of only two ads of its kind ever to come to auction this rare piece of memorabilia rests in its original 23.5x16.5” frame.
