1913 Chinese MIlitary Silver Base Ball Presentation Chalice
Presented just before WWI, this classic piece is engraved, "Charles Muller, Manager...Company D 15th Infantry...Pennant Winner of Base Ball...Tientsin China 1913." One of the only Chinese baseball pieces extant, this was given to the manager of the U.S. military team that was at the Chinese military base at Tientsin. Includes a marvelous raised deign of dragons in sterling silver, the base is silver plate and it measures 2.5" tall.
