1913 Honus Wagner Harper Whiskey Trade Card
This rare trade card features a color sketch of HOF'er Wagner in uniform with bat in hand. The 1912 National League schedule is printed on back, with the wording, "Make a hit by taking home a bottle of the winning brand I.W. Harper - The whiskey your grand-father used" on the face. Although Wagner didn't allow his image to be used on the T206 tobacco card, he apparently had no problem with it being used on a whiskey advertisement. There are a few heavy creases down the middle and some toning on the back that bring the overall grade to VG. Ex-Halper collection.
