1978 Dave Parker Silver Bat (33.5”)

1978 Dave Parker Silver Bat (33.5”)

Stunning collector’s piece is a silver bat, the second of 2 made, commemorating Dave Parker’s 1978 season in which he won the NL batting title with a BA of .334. “The Cobra” also won the MVP award that season, becoming the first Pirate to win the award since Roberto Clemente in ’66. Parker carried the Pittsburgh team almost all the way, but fell just short of the Phillies. Louisville Slugger 125 is a signature model with “Batting Champion 1978 National League B.A. .344’ engraved on the barrel. Obtained straight from Parker. Mint condition.
