1913 Major League Indoor Baseball Game w/Players

1913 Major League Indoor Baseball Game w/Players

Amazing 1913 Major League Indoor Baseball Game comes in its original hinged wooden box and player cards. A total of 16 players are pictured in ovals on the cover, featuring: Baker, Cobb, Lajoie, Walsh, Speaker, Chase, Johnson, Wallace, Mathewson, Chance, Wagner, Dooin, Bresnahan, Bescher, Rucker, and Kling. It should be noted that there is a more common, generic version of this top, however this one with player photos is much rarer and much more desirable. Images used are by Carl Horner and most are the same as the player's T206 portrait including Honus Wagner. Top of box has some abrasions but still presents well, inside is also very nice and includes some of the line-up cards and original wooden playing pieces. One of the most coveted of all early baseball games; made by the Philadelphia Game Manufacturing Co., great care was clearly taken in making this game to last, including the working game spinner and peg board within. An exceptional vintage piece.
