1914 Cincinnati Reds Imperial Cabinet from Heinie Groh
Discovered in Upstate New York, this was saved from the trash along with more of Heinie Groh's personal memorabilia. The captain of the 1919 Reds and 1922 Giants championship teams. Groh was a member of this 1914 Cincinnati team that finished in last place. The stunning image includes Heine Groh himself, while the reverse boasts the original paper label from F. Boellinger, the official Reds photographer. There is some wear to the cardboard mount edges but the photo itself, which measures 14x10.88", is simply perfect.
