1914 Jess Willard vs. Dan Daley On-Site Fight Poster
Offered here is an incredibly rare official, on site poster for the heavyweight match between future champion Jess Willard and Dan Daley at the Broadway Auditorium in Buffalo, New York on April 13, 1914. Willard stopped Daley in the 9th round to continue his march to the title he would win less than a year later. The poster is cardboard measuring 14” x 42.” Both fighters are pictured in fight poses. The poster has several creases with some spotting and soiling. Any on site poster of Jess Willard is rare and this one is likely unique.
