1914 New York Yankees Original Glass Plate Negative
Original glass plate negative capturing the 1914 New York Yankees in a classic team pose. Thirty-four members of the club are pictured here posing in front of the grandstand during spring training, including manager Frank Chance. The notation "Yanks 1914" is etched along the base. As is common for most teams during spring training, players are shown wearing examples of both the club's home and away uniforms. The negative (7x5") displays light flaking along the top border and a few tiny specks of emulsion loss in the central image. In Very Good condition overall.
