1914 Philadelphia Athletics Fatima Photographic Display

1914 Philadelphia Athletics Fatima Photographic Display

Under the guidance of Connie Mack, the 1914 Philadelphia Athletics finished first in the American League before losing the World Series to the Boston Braves in four straight. That season would mark the end of the A's "First Dynasty" as Mack would sell off many of the team's top players the following year. This 13x20" framed photo is a black and white promotional rendition of the squad in preparation for that year's series. The only color is the yellow on the pack of "Fatima Turkish Cigarettes," in the bottom corner, listing the price as well. Has one fold in middle but shows little wear and is in Excellent condition.
