1915 World Series Game Four Program

1915 World Series Game Four Program

The Red Sox captured their second of four World Series titles in a seven-year span in 1915 downing the Phillies in five games. This World Series program comes from Game Four and is a true treasure.Although unscored, it appears that the program's original owner lightly penciled in the starting pitchers name. The beautiful 7" x 10.25", 16-page book is in EX condition with an ever so slight crease on the back that is barely noticeable on the front. The cover showcases team presidents Joseph J. Lannin (BOS) and W. F. Baker (PHI), as well as managers William F. Carrigan (BOS) and Patrick J. Moran (PHI). Boston played its home postseason games at the larger Braves Field across town to capitalize on the larger seating capacity.
