1916 Baseball Tour of Japan Velvet Cigarettes Poster
Much like the Fatima sports posters, Velvet tobacco was a product of the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, which produced this 18.5x12.5" poster with the headline: "DIFFERENT DOINGS ATTRACT ATTENTION." The half-advertisement, half-newsreel displays three black-and-white photos, including one of the University of Chicago Maroons baseball team touring in Japan during the summer of 1916. There are folds but the ad displays as EX-MT.
