1916 Max Carey Fatima Cigarettes Poster with Charles Conlon Photography
He was the man whom Lou Brock eclipsed as the National League's all-time stolen base leader in 1974. Hall of Fame outfielder Max Carey is featured in one of three black-and-white photos that comprise this 18.5x12.5" Fatima cigarettes ad, which bears the headline: "BALL PLAYERS WHOSE WORK IS WORTH WATCHING." The others are Dave Davenport of the St. Louis Americans and Jack Graney of the Indians. The poster is folded but otherwise in EX+ condition.
