1916 BF2 Ferguson Bakery Pennants Chicago White Sox Near Team set with Joe Jackson & Buck Weaver (11)
Several seasons before the biggest scandal in Major League Baseball history erupted, in 1916 The Ferguson Bakery Co. of Roxbury, MA issued a set of almost 100 pennants. Each pennant measures approximately 3x6", and features an image of the player (same image as the M101-4 cards), their team and are all blank-backed. This collection of 11 pennants features all Chicago White Sox players, comprising a near team set (11/14), but include all six of the key players. Players include Joe Jackson (edge felt stain, nice image), Buck Weaver (light tack hole), Charles Comiskey (light staining), Ed Walsh (light image stain & crinkling), Eddie Collins (EX), Ray Schalk (light staining), Shauno Collins, Joe Benz (corner clipped), Reb Russell, Clarence Rowland and Ed Murray (corner clipped). Overall collection averages VG/EX to EX.
