1916 Ebbets Field Pass Signed by Charles Ebbets
Today's baseball media credentials are large, colorful and often hang off a lanyard, but a century ago, a simple slip of paper no larger than a wallet sufficed to grant access to the field and press box. This particular card, measuring around 5" x 3" was issued to player Otto Miller and signed by owner Charles H. Ebbets, for whom the Dodgers' last Brooklyn ballpark would later be named. Ebbets' signature has been enhanced and the pass has some creasing, but grades Good to Very Good on the front. The back has some damage from being glued into a scrapbook. Still a tremendous piece of baseball history.
