1917 Chicago White Sox Panoramic Print with Joe Jackson

1917 Chicago White Sox Panoramic Print with Joe Jackson

This enormous 17x37" vintage print of the 1917 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox is sure to be a crown jewel in any sports memorabilia collection. This all-original print is framed and matted to 23x43". The top of the print reads "Comiskey's Champion White Sox - 1917", and is followed by the entire 1917 White Sox team standing shoulder-to-shoulder across their home field. The 1917 team won the World Series, but only two years later became embroiled in the biggest scandal in MLB history, as a handful of players were accused of fixing the World Series and were subsequently banned for life. A number of legends are presented here, including "Shoeless" Joe Jackson and Ray Schalk, in addition to many of the banned players such as Arnold Gandil and Edward Cicotte. Few spots of paper loss/a strip of brown paper stuck to bottom edge. O/W EX+
