1917 World Series Program Cover Printing Sheets (ex-Harry M. Stevens)
Two years before their "Sox" were tarnished, the White Sox squared off against the New York Giants in the 1917 World Series. The four printing sheets offered here were for the cover of the program for that Series, which featured President Woodrow Wilson throwing out the first pitch. Each page is a different layer of color, and is labeled either Magenta, Cyan, Yellow or Black on the left margin. The bottom right corner lists "Harry M. Stevens, Publisher" and this offering comes from the Harry M. Stevens auction. All four sheets are attached and each measures 10x10.5".
