The 26th president of the United States wrote war time editorials for The Kansas City Star. This remarkable Theodore Roosevelt TLS comes from this era and is on Kansas City Star letterhead. Dated December 3, 1918, Roosevelt offers to help a mother get a letter to her son through a letter to his own son serving in WWI. Roosevelt's signature is mint.
