Now known as the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, the journey of the Tacoma Tigers has been plagued by starts and stops. The Tigers first popped up in the Pacific Coast League in the early 20th century, bursting on to the scene by winning a pennant in 1904, their first year in existence.
