1918 Tacoma Tigers Pacific Coast League Pennant

1918 Tacoma Tigers Pacific Coast League Pennant

Now known as the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, the journey of the Tacoma Tigers has been plagued by starts and stops. The Tigers first popped up in the Pacific Coast League in the early 20th century, bursting on to the scene by winning a pennant in 1904, their first year in existence. Despite the success, however, they promptly moved back to Sacramento midway through the following year and wouldn't return to Tacoma for more than a decade. This pennant comes from around the time of their triumphant return, circa 1918, and is a fitting tribute to the club. The gigantic, old-format pennant measures 34.5" and is EX+.
