1919 Rose Bowl Championship Football Ring
In what was their first and last post-season appearance Harvard crossed the country to defeat Oregon during the early years of the Rose Bowl tradition. The sterling silver ring with large crimson colored stone, once belonged to player, Edward Houghton. On the right and left shank are anonymous players in kicking and passing positions. Engraved along the inner band, "1919 H-7 O-6". Size 8.5. EX condition. One of the earliest football championship rings you will ever see.
