1920's Boxing Bronze by Louis Moreau
This is a magnificent bronze of a very young prizefighter done by noted French artist Louis Moreau. Dates to the early 20th century. This bronze is of a young fighter in boxing togs in full fight pose. He is adorned with period boxing attire with his boxing gloves lying at his feet. Special detail was paid to his facial features, boxing shoes and sash. A few rubs. No cracks. Attached to a wooden base. Signed on the base by the artist Louis Moreau. 17 1/2" in height. One of the finest boxing bronzes we have offered.
