1920's Jack Dempsey Die-cut Boxing Cards

1920's Jack Dempsey Die-cut Boxing Cards

Without par as the most attractive and unusual boxing cards we have ever seen. From Spain, these cards are each die-cut and in the fullest most lavish color. They were issued by a candy company and are imprinted, "Chocolates Jaime Boix - Barcelona". From a set of twenty-four, there are four cards here; each is a pair. Two are each from the Dempsey-Sharkey bout (one is of Dempsey, one of Sharkey). The other is from Dempsey & Carpentier and they show each. Best of all, these were taken from classic wire photographs of the era and are perfect, accurate fight poses. Blank backed and constructed of a light cardboard. We have never seen these before.
