1920 Babe Ruth Photograph - Signing His Movie Contract for "Headin' Home" (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photo capturing Babe Ruth at the signing of his movie contract for the film "Headin' Home," which was released in 1920. Ruth is pictured looking over the contract, as film producers W. A. Shea & T. W. Walshrom look on. Interestingly, a single-signed Ruth ball is clearly visible sitting on the producer's desk, with the fountain pen presumably used by Ruth to sign the ball sitting right next to it. "Headin' Home" was Ruth's first feature film and it sought to capitalize on his popularity as baseball's new "home-run king." Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a few additional handwritten editorial markings. The photo (9.5x7.75") displays a slight trim along the top and right borders, as well as light edge wear. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
