1920 Cleveland Indians Team Panorama from Cleveland Stadium (19x56" framed)
Amazing image of the team that conquered the Brooklyn Robins in October of 1920 (including triple-play man Wamby) once hung in the hallways of the stadium where Chief Wahoo lived. The players stand shoulder to shoulder beneath text that reads, "World's Champions, The Cleveland Base Ball Club, American League, Season 1921." Each is identified below his image, including Burns, Coveleskie (sic), Speaker, Wood, O'Neill, Bagby and Wamby. Photo was mounted on board at the time, and the edges of the photo have cracked away from the board in places, but the center of the image remains quite strong, if a little age-toned. Wonderful vintage patina. Matted and framed as the museum artifact it is.
