1920 Cleveland Indians World Champions Signed Ball
The 1920 Tribe won 98 games and captured the last World Series of the “Dead Ball Era” and the first since the infamous Black Sox Scandal. This very rare official American League ball is signed by over 15 members of the Indians squad that defeated Brooklyn in the World Series 5 games to 2. Signatures include Hall of Famer Tris Speaker, who served as player-manager, pitcher “Smoky” Joe Wood, George Burns, Steve O’Neill, Bill Wambsganns, Doc Johnston and Jack Graney. The signatures are written in black ink and average a “6.5” out of a possible 10. There is a small mounting hole on the ball but overall, it rates EX+.
