1920 Detroit Wolverines Negro League Photograph
One of the two great Detroit Negro League teams (along with the Stars) this was a member of the old Negro League American Association. Startling image features some of the top banned ballplayers of the time. Marvelous tradition pose on the steps of the “Athletic Association” of their sponsor. This is most evident by the quality of their regalia and the quality of this studio image. Name at the bottom in traditional cartouche. 8x10” and 100% vintage of the era. Has a couple of tiny edge tears o/w NRMT with perfect contrast.
