1920 World Series Program at Cleveland
From one of the most historic World Series ever, this program dates from the 1920 classic between the Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Robins. The center scorecard is neatly scored in pencil from Game 6, when Duster Mails tossed a three-hit, 1-0 shutout in a game requiring just 94 minutes to complete. The 5x9" program has some paper loss to the spine plus tape reinforcement. The cover, depicting a Native American in full headdress drawing a bow-and-arrow, has been separated from the binding. After dropping two of the first three in Brooklyn, the Indians rallied to win the next four at home, taking the best-of-nine series by a 5-2 margin.
