1920s-60s Stanford Cardinal Football Program Collection (150+)

1920s-60s Stanford Cardinal Football Program Collection (150+)

This collection of 150+ Stanford football programs is a priceless addition to the annals of any Cardinal fan. The set includes 26 programs from the 1930s, 37 programs from the 1940s, 54 programs from the 1950s and 47 programs from the 1960s, with familiar Pac-12 opponents appearing frequently, such as Washington, Washington St., Oregon and Oregon St. Also included are programs for games against Ohio St., Harvard, Columbia and the Olympic Club. Many of the covers feature the Stanford "Indian," which was installed as the team's mascot in 1930 but dropped in 1972 after protests from Native American students. There is minor creasing and tearing to some programs, with some having handwritten scores on front, as well. Some also have loose bindings, but the collection is overall in EX condition.
