1920s-60s Wire Photos From the San Francisco Examiner (450+)

1920s-60s Wire Photos From the San Francisco Examiner (450+)

Some very interesting stuff here from the photo archive of the San Francisco Examiner newspaper. This legendary paper was the flagship of the William Randolph Hearst chain immortalized in the film Citizen Kane: great movie stills and images of early actors and actresses, a Cherokee "Indian" Chief, surly murder trial, "nude" dancer slaps radio interviewer, Annapolis Academy scandal, 1941 parachutist (2), 1931 Native Americans, 1911 fire engine, POW exchange, an iron lung, TNT/dynamite, MGM contract, 1929 shooting, lie detector test, elegant polo, person jumped from Brooklyn Bridge, hot stripper, seedy crime, President Calvin Coolidge and tons more. Most are 1920s-40s, in EX condition. All 100% old and original.
