1920s Davey "Pretzel" Banks Signed Photograph - Original Celtics Member (JSA)
Signed sepia photograph of Davey "Pretzel" Banks, a member of the original Celtics, who were instrumental in growing the sport of basketball. Banks, given his nickname because he was the son of a pretzel baker, was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame along with his Celtics teammates in 1959. The 8x10" photo is signed "With love to my dear Virginia," who is presumably his wife. There is some creasing on the edges and corners, but it is otherwise VG-EX. Comes with JSA LOA.
