1920s George Sisler "Summer Job" Blotter Holder

1920s George Sisler "Summer Job" Blotter Holder

A celluloid over chrome holder has that lovely ivory color and feel with sepia writing, advertising the River City Press. The St Louis newspaper ad features an image of baseball player Geo. H. Sisler with the position of Vice President and a place to insert your baseball blotter. As he was still playing baseball, this must have been his summer job, more than likely when he was on hiatus for the entire year in 1923. Measures 3x6" with little brass handle in NRMT-MT condition.
