1920s Josephine Baker Follies-Bergere Painting
This mind-shattering watercolor was recently unearthed in Italy but was created by a French artist. The magnificent watercolor in painstaking detail shows the great Josephine Baker at the height of her fame at the Follies-Bergere in the late 1920's. Scintillatingly sexy, she is topless, dressed to the nines in the look and style that is art deco in its purest form. This is fine art rather than illustration art.
