1920s Lou Gehrig Zinn Beck Bat Graded A4
This is a Lou Gehrig Zinn Beck 100 Diamond Ace Professional Model bat from the 1920s. The bat measures 33.625" in length, which is shorter than most recorded 1920s Gehrig models, and weighs 36 oz. It shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks and cleat marks, but no evidence of pine tar. The bat is uncracked with no markings on the knob other than those stamped on at the factory. It has been documented that Zinn Beck model 100 bats were both used in the major leagues and also available to the public. Lou Gehrig bats are becoming more and more difficult to find, and this one has been professionally graded Mears A4.
