1920s Pottsville Maroons Program and Photos (3)
Contained in this lot are three rare items. The first is a 1928 program from a game between the Pottsville Maroons and the New York Giants held on Sept. 30, 1928. Measuring 6" x 9", the program is a bit tattered with some missing pages. Covers have tape at the spine and there are some tears and chipping of the paper inside. Also included is a partial team photo (9" x 6") from the 1925 "Championship" team that includes 11 players. Two tears that go all the way through the photo are repaired with tape, the top corners are clipped and there is some paper loss and staining. PR condition but this is an original photo with great importance. Finally, a smaller 6" x 4" photo with a few team members in street clothes is in EX condition.
