1920s Rudolph Valentino Collection including "Sheik" Movie Stills (80+)
Spectacular collection of vintage material from the career of Rudolph Valentino. 1) MOVIE STILLS: An incredible group of stunning vintage movie stills includes two complete sets of 25 from "Son of the Sheik" (1926) in their original envelopes. There are also 17 stills from Monsieur Beaucaire (1924) and seven other Valentino stills. Plus, an interesting still in special paper frame of Rudy showing chest hair (or lack thereof). Total of 75 stills. 2) Rare hardcover edition of the 1926 "Estate of Rudolph Valentino" auction catalogue, displaying sumptuous quality as it is hardbound and even has the original typed addendum. We have not seen this version before. 3) MISC: Book "How You Can Keep Fit" by Valentino, 1927 "Valentino's Favorite Picture" cardboard standee (8x4"), collection of vintage clippings, 1929 Moving Picture Stories mags with Rudy covers (2), 1930 Fawcett Publications letter r.e. Rudy's voice. A wide selection, overall in EX-MT condition.
