1920s Spalding Baseball Display Box with 12 Original Baseballs
An interesting piece here saved by a youngster who "kept it all together." Here is the original display box with all 12 of the original baseballs inside. Two of them are unused in original boxes with the original tissue. The balls have some foxing but are otherwise NRMT. The other ten are in varying degrees of condition but all are red and green striped and heavily used. All appear to be Spalding Official League Cork Center baseballs. Five of the original boxes are also here and they sport gorgeous period graphics. They have varying degrees of the paper labels existing but otherwise range from Very Good to Excellent condition. Best of all is the original display box with graphics to boot. The lid is real nice but two of the sides have been retired back and the box is now solid. Two other sides show extensive wear. All in all an amazing amalgamation.
