1920's Walter Johnson Type 1 Photo (PSA/DNA)

1920's Walter Johnson Type 1 Photo (PSA/DNA)

Walter Johnson won 417 games, second all-time only to Cy Young's 511. A member of the Inaugural Hall of Fame class, Johnson played all 21 years of his major league career with the Washington Senators. Possessor of a blazing fastball, it is thought that Johnson's abnormally long arms (34") relative to his height (6'1") gave him the advantage of a whip-like delivery. Classic image of classic long-armed delivery.
