1920s Woolsey's Cast Iron Kicker in Rare Original Box
A great cast iron mechanical football toy, this is the only one we have ever seen with the string and original ball intact, in addition to the cardboard standing goal which measures 17.15" high and has the instructions, rules and penalties, how to adjust and information under "Mechanical Kicker." Painted in red and yellow with a flesh colored face, the kicker stands 7” tall on a green base. Pull his right leg back and it releases with the lever, and he kicks the football from the adjustable cast iron tee. The original paint is 98%, in amazing condition for a cast iron toy, EX-MT condition. There is, however, heavy wear and repaired tears to the cardboard standing goal.
