1922-23 Cleveland Rosenblums Championship Charm Presented to Myron Rosenblum
Talk about hubris! The Cleveland Rosenblums were the creation of city department store owner Max Rosenblum, who in the late 1910s named his team after himself. No one could argue with its success on the hardwood, however, as the Roseys, as they were called, racked up several championships. This gold charm comes from the 1922-23 championship club, which was described as "the fastest basket ball aggregation in this part of the country." The basketball on chain features the following engraving: "CLEVELAND ROSENBLUMS 1922-23 - MYRON ROSENBLUM," likely one of the owner's family members. It is in EX condition. Flanked by several former college basketball stars, the 1922–1923 Rosenblums were coached by Bill Lange, who later led the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 1941.
