1996-97 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Game Worn Uniform with Bulls Letter

1996-97 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Game Worn Uniform with Bulls Letter

At North Carolina, as a freshman, Michael Jordan drained a 15-foot jump shot that won them the NCAA Championship. He ended his career with a buzzer-beater to win his 6th NBA championship in ’98 against the Utah Jazz. In between, Jordan hit a total of 25 game-winning jump shots. What a career, what a presence, and what a legacy… After defeating Isiah Thomas and the Detroit Pistons, then Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers in ’91 to claim his first Championship, Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls became the new “Airs” to the throne, claiming 6 Championship rings during the reign of the most dominating team in the history of the NBA. He has the best all-time scoring average. Jordan, Russell & Jabbar are the only players in history to have won the MVP award 5 times or more (Jordan with 6). Jordan, Jabbar, Malone, & Chamberlain are the only players in the 30,000 point club. And let’s not forget that Mike is still adding to those numbers! But it is his superior defensive prowess and court savvy, which separates him from the rest of the great offensive leaders. He is truly the greatest all-around player of all time. Chicago Bulls white home uniform is exquisite! Acquired directly from the Bulls at the 12th annual 2001 CharitaBulls auction, it doesn’t get any better, or more authentic than this! The only way you could do better is if Michael handed you his uniform while walking off the court after a game. The CharitaBulls event is held only once a year in conjunction with the FestaBulls dinner. Jersey with “Bulls 23” stitched on front and “Jordan 23” on verso. Official NBA logo patch on left breast. Front tail tagging is “Champion [size] 46” and “Chicago Bulls [year] 96-97 Body Length +3”. Shorts, white with red trim bear the Bulls head logo on each leg with official NBA logo patch on right. Michael’s #23 written in black marker on tag in waistband. Tagging is “Champion [size] 38” and “Chicago Bulls rise +2 inseam +3”. LOA from Chicago Bulls CharitaBulls event, signed by David Kurland, Senior Manager of Community relations as well as a program from the FestaBulls dinner and auction.
