1922 World Series Polo Grounds Press Pin
For the second straight season, the 1922 World Series was played entirely in the Polo Grounds, as the two participants - the Giants and Yankees - both called the ballpark home. And despite one tie, the Giants swept the Series, pitching around Babe Ruth and scoring just enough runs to prevail. From that historic Fall Classic comes this very rare pin, as it was the only one issued that October. The brooch-style back with Whitehead & Hoag stamp is NRMT on the front with only slight tarnishing on the back.
