Without this document, the House that Ruth Built wouldn't have been built at all. Thirty-five pages typed on legal-size paper dated the "...11th day of September 1922..." begins by describing the property "…beginning at the corner formed by the intersection of the southerly side of East 161st Street with the westerly side of River Avenue…" Cover of the folded document is typed, "The Equitable Trust Company of New York and American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc. and Jacob Ruppert…" Condition of cover is worn, but inside pages are NRMT. This seems to be some sort of file copy, as none of the pages are signed.
