1924 Babe Ruth "Babe Hits a Triple" Type I Action Photograph
Splendid photo depicting Babe Ruth hitting a triple against the Detroit Tigers on July 21, 1924. The Bambino is shown just leaving the batter's box as he sees the smash to right field. Black and white, Type I 8x10" photo has four pinholes at the corners with minor creasing, and is otherwise in Excellent condition. Verso has typewritten caption describing the action with International Newsreel Photo stamp and publishers marks in pencil. Not just a home run threat, Babe recorded 136 career three baggers, an impressive total of a player of his stature.
