1924 Baseball Magazine Complete Year (12 issues)

1924 Baseball Magazine Complete Year (12 issues)

The Washington Senators boasted their only World Series title, IBM and Mercedes-Benz were launched, and Calvin Coolidge was re-elected president. It all happened in 1924, the year that serves as the focal point of this complete set of Baseball Magazine issues. All 12 editions are accounted for in this fantastic collection, which features cover stories on George Sisler, Edd Rousch, Eddie Collins, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Stanley Harris, Max Carey and the new Polo Grounds among others. The overall conditions are VG, and there's tons of incomparable information here, perfect for research of - and indulgence in - the era. Baseball Magazine existed between 1908 and 1957 with a brief comeback bid in 1964-65, and was a primary conglomeration of articles, results, stats and photos depicting the great American Pastime.
