Trailblazing golfer Bobby Jones is the subject of this vintage 1924 photo. A lawyer by trade, Jones competed with the best pro golfers in the world and won 13 major championships, including four at the US Open. Slight wear to top edge does not impact the sharp image on this 6x8.5" classic. Verso has "1924" circled in large blue wax pencil among other notations and stamps from photo service Brown Brothers, as this is part of their formidable collection. Jones is credited with founding and helping design the Augusta National Golf Club and co-founded The Masters, among other accomplishments.
