1924 Stall & Dean Mascot Football Uniform with Matching Photograph
This is a very interesting collection consisting of five-year old sized football pants, a wool cardigan with a letter "1," and a "posed" photo of the model "Jack" wearing the ensemble in 1924. Beautiful quality and construction representing an era gone by in football and athletic clothing attire, the football uniform was used in advertising, little boy model for Stall & Dean Sporting Goods Manufacturers Co., established in 1898, which was universally recognized as the standard in clothing at the time. Photo is vintage type I, 8x10", on the verso, written in fountain pen is April 20, 1924. Pants and headgear given to Jack by Stall & Dean, Chicago." There are a oouple of holes in the sweater, otherwise collection is EX-MT.
