This terrific color litho image by Oscar Rabe Hanson advertises the South Shore Line train that takes passengers to the big game. The illustration depicts a generic player of the era breaking through a pile of players and presumably heading toward the end zone. The Fighting Irish established their dominance in the early '20s, accumulating a 55-3 record over a six-year span, culminating with a 10-0 mark in '24 and a victory over Stanford in the 1925 Rose Bowl. Item is in EX-MT condition and mounted on linen 25x36.5.
