1925 Pottsville Maroons Championship Ring
The PottsvilleMaroons’ disputed claim as NFL World Champions of 1925 brands this band with delicious controversy, as the Chicago Cardinals (better regular season record) officially own the title in the NFL’s eyes. Given out later at a reunion, this (non-gold) ring’s crown is engraved with “World Champions NFL 1925” around its ruby pool. Its left shank is adorned with a shield with team’s name and year, while right shank shows playing boot and championship banner. A tough ring; second we have handled. Size 10.
