1925 Rogers Hornsby Original Photograph - Underwood & Underwood File Copy (PSA Type I)
Original photograph capturing Hall of Fame second baseman Rogers Hornsby as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals in 1925. Hornsby is pictured in a leaping pose at third base as he reaches high to catch a baseball. An "Underwood & Underwood" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with the original paper news caption, dated "5/13/25." As noted in the caption, this photo was taken at Ebbets Field the day prior. The embossed lettering, reading "File Copy/Do Not Remove" appears twice on the photo, indicating that it originates directly from the files of Underwood & Underwood. The photo (6x7.75"), which has been trimmed to its current dimensions, is in Excellent condition overall. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
