1926 National League Golden Jubilee Baseballs in Display Box
Amazing history in this nearly-century old display piece from Major League Baseball's Golden Jubilee Banquet in 1926. Contained within this gold-colored 8.5x4.25x3" box are a pair of baseballs, with black print on the cover reading, "Golden Jubliee, National League, Feb 2. 1926," likely from the off-season banquet. Original display box is velvet lined and shows wear at the edges but remains intact. One ball is an Official National League (Heydler) baseball which is blank and the other is also an Official National League (Heydler - auto stamp over the Spalding logo) ball with real photos of every National League president since 1876. Both pearls are in EX-NM condition, a fantastic find as these items themselves draw closer to their 100th anniversary.
