1926 "The Patent Leather Pug" Movie Poster
Here's a TKO of a poster - a wonderful stone litho poster for the 1926 film "The Patent Leather Pug" that practically looks as if it could hang in the window of a cineplex today. Billy Sullivan starred in this minor silent action melodrama as a boxer who must become financially independent in order to marry his girlfriend, (played by Ruth Dwyer), whose father (J.P. McGowan) unsuccessfully tries to sabotage the championship match. There's some restoration to creases and recoloring but it looks great.
